Broadband now accounts for almost 75% of internet connections in the UK

Almost 73% of British households that connect to the internet now do so using broadband.

Having overtaken dial-up as the most popular way to connect to the internet broadband has gone up to 73% of connections in June of this year. This is in comparison to 54.4% in the same month last year.
