Doctors warn of the risks from buying drugs online

UK doctors are warning people of the dangers of buying drugs online from the internet.

Following a case where a woman self diagnosed her illness and bought drugs from Thailand the dangers of buying medication online have been highlighted. The lady in question went to hospital after taking these non-prescribed drugs and suffering from deteriorating eye sight. Examination showed that she was suffering from glaucoma and cataracts after taking too much of the drug.

Doctors warn that drugs purchased this way can be fake and contain ingredients that bear little resemblance to those in the real drugs.
