Survey finds that 1 in 3 digital cameras are not backed up
A new survey has found that pictures from about a third of digital cameras are not backed up.
With up to 89% of people owning either a digital camera or camera phone this means that there is a massive quantity of digital photos that could be lost. Photos can be one of the most precious types of digital file as there is no way of recreating them once they are gone.
With the dangers of viruses and other malicious software, or just accidents and computer failures, it is easy to lose files that aren't backed up.
