Software piracy in the UK at 27%
A survey produced by anti-piracy group The Business Software Alliance has shown that 27% of the software installed on computers in the UK is pirated.
They estimate that piracy is costing the UK's technology sector almost £1bn per year.
By comparison, piracy rates in the US are 21%, while the highest rates are found in Vietnam and Zimbabwe which both have rates of 90%!
