Bill Gates to step down from day to day role

Bill Gates has announced that he will step down from his day to day job at Microsft, the world's largest and best known software company.

He will remain as chairman of the company and will be involved in the development of new technologies, however he wants to concentrate more time on his charitable organisation the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
