Windows comes installed with a variety of different pointers, so if you're tired of the standard arrow and hourglass that are set as the Windows defaults, follow these steps to change them.

    • In Windows XP click on the Start button and select Control Panel from the menu that appears (usually on the right hand side of the menu).

    • In Windows 95/98/2000 click on the Start button, click on Settings and then select Control Panel from the menu that appears.
